Adjusting the grinding angle is a key link in the operation of a double end grinder. Mastering proper adjustment skills can not only improve processing accuracy, but also improve work efficiency.
The double-end grinder is mainly composed of a bed, a workbench, a grinding wheel frame, a grinding wheel dresser, a workpiece clamping device and an angle adjustment mechanism. Among them, the angle adjustment mechanism is the key part to realize the angle adjustment of the workpiece. When making angle adjustments, the basic principles of accuracy, safety and convenience must be followed.
To adjust the grinding angle of the dual grinder, first make sure the machine tool is turned off and check whether all components are intact. For angle deviations, check whether the locking device of the angle adjustment mechanism is firm and reliable, and tighten it in time. At the same time, angle measuring tools are regularly calibrated to ensure their accuracy. In case of uneven wear of the grinding wheel, the grinding wheel should be trimmed and replaced regularly to maintain the good condition of the grinding wheel, and attention should be paid to adjusting the contact pressure between the grinding wheel and the workpiece surface to avoid uneven wear caused by being too big or too small.
