When the CNC system is started, the hardware needs to be tested if the motor or cable is damaged, it will not pass the hardware test and the machine tool will not work properly when alarmed. In order not to stop production, the axis can be protected at this time and converted into a virtual axis so that the machine tool can continue to work. For example, to shield the TC1 axis of a horizontal machining center robot, the steps are as follows:
2.1 In the boot interface, enter the manufacturer level password “SUNRISE”.
2.2 Modify the special data of the robot TC1 axis machine tool:
30130 CTRLOUT_TYPE=0, disables control output to the port;
30200 NUM_ENCS=0, set position and speed feedback to without encoder;
30240 ENC_TYPE=0, set position and speed feedback to analog feedback;
After changing the machine tool data above, the NCK RESET operation should be performed. The SIN840D CNC machine tool is stopped and restarted for the changed machine tool data to take effect.
2.3 In the dynamic configuration, protect the robot’s TC1 axis control module:
In the drive configuration interface, change the TC1 axis control enable state to “No”.
At this point, the modified axis becomes a virtual axis, and its corresponding module and motor can be removed for inspection and maintenance. At this point, the machine tool can operate other axes without a manipulator. However, the modified axis is still displayed. If you do not want to display the modified axis, you must modify the channel machine tool data. If the robot’s TC1 axis needs to be restored after repair, simply change the machine tool data above to the original value.
