GREATLIGHT PRECISION CNC MACHINING CO., LTD.

This Customer Service Agreement (“Agreement”) governs the provision of precision CNC machining services by GreatLight Precision CNC Machining Co., Ltd. (“GreatLight”), with operational facilities in China and Singapore. GreatLight specializes in high-tolerance machining, rapid prototyping, and production-grade manufacturing, serving industries including robotics, aerospace, medical devices, and industrial automation.
1. SCOPE OF SERVICES
GreatLight provides comprehensive CNC machining services, including but not limited to:
- 3- to 5-axis milling and turning
- Material selection support: metals (e.g., aluminum 6061, stainless steel 304/316, titanium Ti-6Al-4V) and engineering plastics (e.g., PEEK, ABS, Nylon)
- Surface finishing: anodizing, plating, polishing, powder coating, heat treatment
- Prototyping to production: from MOQ 1 up to 10,000+ units
- Design for Manufacturability (DFM) analysis and engineering feedback
- Lead times:
- Prototypes: 3–7 days
- Production batches: 2–4 weeks
All components are manufactured in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards, with tolerances as tight as ±0.001 mm.
2. ORDERING AND QUOTATION PROCESS
- Clients shall submit design files in STEP, IGES, or X_T format.
- A detailed quotation, including cost breakdown, lead time, and DFM suggestions, will be provided within 24–48 hours.
- Orders are confirmed upon receipt of a 50% deposit.
- GreatLight reserves the right to optimize designs for cost efficiency and manufacturability, typically achieving 15–20% cost savings.
3. PAYMENT TERMS
- 50% deposit upon order confirmation; 50% balance prior to shipment.
- Accepted payment methods: bank transfer, PayPal (service fee applies to client).
- Late payments are subject to 1.5% monthly interest.
- Pricing may be adjusted with 30 days’ prior notice in case of significant raw material cost fluctuations.
4. DELIVERY AND SHIPPING
- Standard shipping terms: FOB Shenzhen (China) or Singapore, pursuant to Incoterms® 2020.
- Shipping methods:
- Express (DHL/FedEx) for prototypes and small batches
- Sea freight for high-volume orders
- Delivery delays caused by force majeure events (e.g., material shortages, logistics disruptions) shall not be considered a breach of this Agreement.
- Clients must inspect goods within 7 days of receipt and report defects in writing.
5. QUALITY ASSURANCE AND WARRANTIES
- All parts are inspected using CMM and precision metrology equipment, with measurement accuracy of 1.2 μm.
- GreatLight warrants products against defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months from shipment.
- Non-conforming parts will be reworked or replaced at no cost, provided they deviate from agreed specifications.
- Warranty does not cover defects resulting from client-provided design errors or improper use.
6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CONFIDENTIALITY
- All client-designs, drawings, and technical data remain the property of the client.
- GreatLight shall not reproduce, disclose, or use client IP for any purpose other than order fulfillment.
- Confidentiality obligations are enforced under applicable data protection regulations, including GDPR and Singapore’s PDPA.
7. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
- GreatLight’s total liability shall not exceed the total value of the client’s order.
- In no event shall GreatLight be liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profit or production downtime.
8. FIREARMS AND RESTRICTED ITEMS POLICY
- China Facility: Strictly prohibited from manufacturing any firearm-related components under China’s Export Control Law.
- Singapore Facility: May produce licensed components in compliance with the Guns, Explosives, and Weapons Control Act 2021, subject to Singapore Police Force (SPF) approval.
- All orders are screened; non-compliant inquiries will be rejected without notice.
9. TERMINATION AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
- Either party may terminate this Agreement with 30 days’ written notice.
- Disputes shall be resolved by arbitration in Singapore under the SIAC Rules.
- Governing law:
- Singapore law for orders serviced through the Singapore facility
- Chinese law for orders serviced through the China facility
10. AMENDMENTS AND ACCEPTANCE
- No amendment to this Agreement shall be effective unless in writing and signed by both parties.
- Placing an order constitutes acceptance of these terms.
