Olive cleaning machines are designed for the large-scale removal of debris from the olives.

The olives are moved over a series of serrated serrated shafts that do not mesh together, but rather turn in opposite rotations with very little clearance on the outside diameter. When an olive with a stem or leaf passes over the pinch point, the debris is removed from the olive.

GreatLight manufactures this serrated shaft for one of the largest olive producers in the USA.
