GreatLight Metal manufactures this cast shaft for an industrial vehicle OEM in Guangdong, China. This HC-84 steel shaft is cast from one solid piece.

Next, the steel casting is precision machined in several operations and the splines are hobbed.

The cast shaft measures 6.71″ long.

Several plugs, dowels and seals are assembled after heat treating, to finish the shaft manufacturing process.
